Hello SJ crew! Sorry about the long hiatus. Bengie and I took a break over the holidays to enjoy time with our families. Once that was over we hit the ground running getting our secret project finished and ready to roll out. What is that project you ask? All will be revealed tomorrow. With all of that accomplished SlackJaw will now resume it’s regular schedule starting next week. Thank you all for your patience!
I have another site for you all to check out. In the Hot Seat is a web series done by Roland where he samples different hot sauces and peppers. If you are a fan of schadenfreude I’d say start with the episode where they eat a tortilla chip topped with a ghost chili which is topped with pure chili extract that is only meant to be used as an additive. Catch that awesome graphic at the beginning?
That would be done by none other than Bengie, your favorite SJ artist. Hot sauce enthusiasts will enjoy this show for sure!
Hello once again SJ crew! Some friends of SlackJaw have started a podcast. The Best of No Worlds podcast stars Leonard Bass and Mike Stanton. Each week they riff on a different topic. Be warned that their language and content is not safe for work. Don’t bother trying to listen with headphones at work either. I guarantee you’ll end up laughing out loud which will get some strange looks from the coworkers. I’m not just plugging this because Leonard and Mike are friends and they have a great podcast. (Though honestly that’s enough reason for me to recommend it to you all.) Our resident SJ artist Bengie has provided the banner up top on their site. So head on over to the Best of No Worlds podcast and give em a listen!
Hello SJ crew! Just wanted to fill you in on the awesome times had at Intervention! First off the debut of SlackJaw: The Working Dead went well. People really dug our style and the interactivity of the comic. We were even approached by some people to do a guest comic! Bengie and I will get crakin on that and you should be seeing that some time in the future.
Interfection was a hit yet again this year. We had over 10% of the convention attendees (and even some staff) waging the battle against the undead this year. It was great to have SJ friends Leonard Bass and Chris Hosmann with us this year so we could start to branch out. A big thank you again to all of the Intervention staff and attendees for making Interfection a success once again this year! An extra special thank you to everyone in the artist/merchant room for their participation and prizes! Can’t wait to come back to this con!
